The Sunday Post #24

Update:

Brief post today! I have been less busy on my blog lately since I’ve dealt with some pretty tough migraines over the last week and a half. I’m feeling quite a lot better today, though. I hardly get them anymore, but when they come, they come in pretty aggressively. Meanwhile, it’s given me some time to rest. And I’ve been comforted with a bit of ice cream – there’s a great cashew, plant-based cashew chocolate fudge brownie I find hard to resist from a local vendor! Apologies. I have been on a bit of a pause in replying to comments since my migraines. I hope to get back on track soon.

Olivia Update 🐾

Olivia has been doing great! She’s helped make these migraines go by a lot smoother. I’m always amazed by how loving and caring she is. She’s such an amazing cat.

  1. That’s no fun that you’ve been dealing with migraines lately, Sara! I know they can be so intense and make it hard to do pretty much anything. I’m really glad you’re feeling better today, and I love that Olivia’s been taking such good care of you—she seems like a wonderful cat from what I see of her! And the books you’ve been reading look fantastic as well. Thank you so much for the wonderful post, and feel better this week!

  2. I’m sorry you have had to deal with migraines. I have a friend who suffered greatly from them when she was young. Now, at seventy, the doctors have figured out how to help her.

I do believe cats and ice cream are the best thing for migraines!

  3. I hope you have had a better week with no migraines, Sara. I know how miserable they can be. I am glad Olivia has been there for support! Our cats always seem to know when we need them even more, don’t they?

I was glad to see you liked Annie Rains book! I love that cover. It’s on my wish list and I hope to read it one day.

    Take care and happy reading!

  7. Sara’s Reading Nook sounds like the perfect cozy corner for book lovers! There’s nothing better than getting lost in a good book—kind of like how a Freddy’s frozen custard makes any day a little sweeter. What’s been the most memorable book recommendation from Sara’s blog?
