General Update
Hello everyone!
I hope you have been having a great few months! Over here in the Northern Hemisphere, we have been experiencing the joys of summer.

Recently, I’ve been putting a lot of effort into making my apartment more comfortable and organized. My balcony garden is flourishing, and I’ve been working on improving my reading room, although it’s been a bit of a slow process. I’m currently searching for a new sofa and some artwork to enhance the area. Additionally, we intend to install glass doors on my academic bookshelf, with the bottom shelf serving as storage.
With all the busyness, reading has unfortunately taken a backseat. As for my blog, I have fallen behind on my reviews. I have several physical and e-ARCs that I still need to complete. However, there is some progress to report! I feel refreshed and am able to read again. In fact, I just finished a novel for the first time in months and have already scheduled the review for my blog. I still have two more reviews to write. I hope to keep the momentum moving forward!
Olivia Update 🐾
Olivia is really enjoying the warmer weather and feeling happy and content! We’re spending more time reading together, which is great. With some extra free time coming up soon, she’s looking forward to more cuddles.

I want to express my gratitude to @readforeverpub and @annierainsbooks for sending me a copy of The Good Luck Cafe. Also, a big thank you to Penguin Random House for providing me with copies of The Isles of the Gods and Together We Rot.

It’s always a good feeling to finish a book, not to mention the reviews, when we get behind! Hope you’re having a good weekend! 🙂

I’m only 15 pages into Murder at the Majestic Hotel by Clara McKenna, so I’ll count that as the book I’m reading next.

Your balcony looks great. I’m glad you found your reading mojo again. It happens when real life takes over, but it’s a good feeling when you can do what you love to do.

Your balcony looks lovely! I would like to replace our old couch but for now I think a new sofa cover will have to do. My cat Gracie likes to cuddle with me when I read too. Nina, not so much. Although she likes to sit near by. I hope you enjoy your reading and have a great week!

Nice to hear you’re feeling refreshing and enjoying the summer! I’ve enjoyed Annie Raines in the past so I’d probably enjoy The Good Luck Cafe. Love the cover.
