Olivia Update 🐾
Olivia had another wonderful week! She enjoyed spending lots of time with my partner and myself, as we were on staycation. We still have another couple of days off, and Olivia is excited for even more cuddle time.
Life Update
Today is the first day I’ve felt relatively okay since my back injury. It’s been rough, but I’m happy to have spent time resting and recovering. That said, energy is a bit low today, but I’m sure it will return this upcoming week!

QOTD: Are you a mood reader or
a TBR list maker? Let us know!

You have got some good things planned for next week. Fun!
I’m a list maker. I’m working on 21 perpetual challenges!
I’m glad you’ve had some good days since your injury. I hope you are feeling completely well soon.

Thank you so much, Deb! I had another back injury which is a bummer – think I must have underestimated it and done too much this week.
Oh my goodness – 21 challenges!! Amazing. I aspire to do the same.
Take care!

I’m glad you’re starting to feel better after your injury. Back issues always take time to heal. I’m a list maker for my ARCs but will mood read for my own books.

Oh they sure do, thank you Wendy! Unfortunately injured my back again this week. Definitely overdid it.
I like your process of list making for priorities like ARCs and having flexibility with your own books.
Have a great week!

Back injuries are so tough to recover from. You never realize how much you use your back muscles for every little movement until they hurt! So glad you are improving. I’m 100% a mood reader (even though I love lists). I never know what I’ll feel like reading from one book to the next.

Thank you Tanya – it was getting better but then I got a second injury, unfortunately. Simply overdid it but am going to spend time resting this weekend (though, I really just want to be more active!) But I’ll take it as a sign to take it easy.
Mood reading is my go-to in the early spring – my break from the list making. Love that you’re a mood reader!
Take care and have a great week!

It looks like you’ve done some updates on your blog, Sara—it looks great! I’m glad you, your partner, and Olivia have been hanging out during staycation, and I hope you get to enjoy a few more days of that. And I’m glad your back injury is finally getting better, but I’m sorry it’s taken so long! I hope the upward trend continues. I checked out your review of Radium Girls from this week, and it looks like an excellent read! And I am definitely a mood reader—I just pick whatever book I feel like, rather than planning in advance. Thanks so much for the wonderful post, and enjoy your week!

Hi Max, thank you so much! I love to do little tweaks on the blog here and there!
Had a small back injury this week so a few step backs – overdid it. But I’m sure it’ll get better! Just have to take it easy, hard to do.
Radium Girls was fascinating, thanks for checking out the review!
Love that you’re a mood reader, definitely good to be flexible and embrace what you want to read at the time!
Take care and have a great week!

I’m glad you’re starting to feel better after hurting your back. I’m sorry about the low-energy, though. That’s always hard to deal with. I hope you enjoyed your last couple of days off! And, I’m glad Olivia got a lot of cuddling in. 😀

Thank you so much, Jenni! Unfortunately, had another injury this week but I’m sure it’ll get better day by day!
Olivia has been loving the cuddles and reading time. Take care! And have a great week!
